17. ଏହେତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ପରମେଶ୍ଵର, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ଵର ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯିହୁଦାର ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ନିବାସୀ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯେଉଁ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳର କଥା କହିଅଛୁ, ତାହାସବୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଘଟାଇବା; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କଥା କହିଅଛୁ, ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ଶୁଣି ନାହାନ୍ତି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡାକିଅଛୁ, ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇ ନାହାନ୍ତି ।
