24. ଏଥିରେ ସେମାନେ ଯିହୋଶୂୟଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର କରି କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଦେଶ ଦେବାକୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ଏହି ଦେଶ ନିବାସୀ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ବିନାଶ କରିବାକୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ଵର ଆପଣା ସେବକ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ ଯେପରି ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇଥିଲେ, ତାହା ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ରୂପେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦାସମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହାଯାଇଅଛି; ଏହେତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାଣ ବିଷୟରେ ଅତିଶୟ ଭୀତ ହୋଇ ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିଅଛୁ ।
