2:4. ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଜୀବନ୍ତ "ପଥର"। ଜଗତର ଲୋକମାନେ ସହେି ପଥରଟି ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ଯ କଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସହେି ପଥରଟିକୁ ମନୋନୀତ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ମୂଲ୍ଯ ଅଧିକ।

2:4. So as you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but chosen and priceless in God's sight,

2:4. You are coming to Christ, who is the living cornerstone of God's temple. He was rejected by people, but he was chosen by God for great honor.

2:4. The Lord Jesus is the living stone. The people of the world decided that they did not want this stone. But he is the one God chose as one of great value. So come to him.
