8:17. ଅଯର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଓ ବୈଥଲରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ପଛ ରେ ଗୋଡଇ ଥିଲେ। ନଗର ରେ କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ନଥିଲେ ଯକେି ନଗରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରକ୍ଷା କରି ପାରିବେ।

8:17. No men were left in Ai or Bethel; they all went out after Israel. They left the city wide open and chased Israel.
