1:29. ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କଠା ରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ କବଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସୁ ଯୋଗ ଦଇେଛନ୍ତିା ତାହା ୟଥେଷ୍ଟ ନୁହେଁ, ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଦୁଃଖ ଭୋଗ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁଯୋଗ ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ଉଭୟ ବିଷୟ ଯୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କୁ ଗୌରବନ୍ବିତ କରେ।

1:29. For it has been granted to you not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for him,
