9:9. ଯେତବେେଳେ ମୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରଦ୍ବଯ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ କୃତ ନିଯମର ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ଫଳକ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗଲି। ସେତବେେଳେ ମୁ ପର୍ବତ ରେ ଚାଳିଶ ଦିନ ଓ ଚାଳିଶ ରାତି ରହିଲି, ମୁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ କିଅବା ଜଳପାନ ମଧ୍ଯ କଲିନାହିଁ।

9:9. When I went up the mountain to receive the stone tablets, the tablets of the covenant that the LORD made with you, I remained there forty days and nights, eating and drinking nothing.

9:9. This happened when I was on the mountain receiving the tablets of stone inscribed with the words of the covenant that the LORD had made with you. I was there for forty days and forty nights, and all that time I ate no food and drank no water.

9:9. When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which Jehovah made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights; I did neither eat bread nor drink water.
