8:17. ତୁମ୍ଭେ କବେେ କୁହ ନାହିଁ ଯେ, 'ଆପଣା ପରାକ୍ରମ ଓ ବାହୁ ବଳଦ୍ବାରା ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଐଶ୍ବର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଲାଭ କରିଛ ବୋଲି।'

8:17. Be careful not to say, "My own ability and skill have gotten me this wealth."

8:17. He did all this so you would never say to yourself, 'I have achieved this wealth with my own strength and energy.'

8:17. and lest thou say in thy heart, My power and the might of my hand hath gotten me this wealth.

8:17. Beware lest you say in your heart, 'My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.'

8:17. And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of [mine] hand hath gotten me this wealth.
