17:15. ସେତବେେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମନୋନୀତ କରିବେ, ତାଙ୍କୁ ହିଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ରାଜା କରିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆପଣା ଭାତୃଗଣମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଜଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆପଣା ଉପରେ ରାଜାଭାବେ ନିୟକ୍ସ୍ଟକ୍ତ କରିବ। ୟିଏ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭାଇ ନକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହେଁ ଏପରି ବିଦେଶୀଯ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରାଜା ଭାବେ ମନୋନୀତ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।

17:15. you must select without fail a king whom the LORD your God chooses. From among your fellow citizens you must appoint a king— you may not designate a foreigner who is not one of your fellow Israelites.

17:15. If this happens, be sure to select as king the man the LORD your God chooses. You must appoint a fellow Israelite; he may not be a foreigner.

17:15. thou shalt surely set him king over thee, whom Jehovah thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee; thou mayest not put a foreigner over thee, who is not thy brother.

17:15. When that happens, you must be sure to choose the king that the Lord chooses. The king over you must be one of your own people. You must not make a foreigner your king.
