2:16. ଯେଉଁମାନେ ନଷ୍ଟ ହାଇେ ଯାଇଛନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଲାଗି ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁର ଦୁର୍ଗନ୍ଧ ସ୍ବରୂପ ଅଟୁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ପାଇଛନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଲାଗି ଜୀବନର ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ଅଟୁ। ଅତଏବ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ଏହା ଯେ, ଏହି କାମ କରିବା ପାଇଁ କିଏ ସମର୍ଥ ?

2:16. to the latter an odor from death to death, but to the former a fragrance from life to life. And who is adequate for these things?

2:16. To those who are perishing, we are a dreadful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved, we are a life-giving perfume. And who is adequate for such a task as this?

2:16. to the one a savor from death unto death; to the other a savor from life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
