4:2. ସେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ବିଷୟ ରେ କ'ଣ ଶିଖିଲେ? ଅବ୍ରାହାମ ଯଦି ନିଜର କର୍ମ ପାଇଁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ବୋଲି ଧରା ହେଲେ, ତା' ହେଲେ, ସେଥି ରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଗର୍ବ କରିବା କଥା। କିନ୍ତୁ ଅବ୍ରାହାମ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ଗର୍ବ କରି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ।

4:2. For if Abraham was declared righteous by the works of the law, he has something to boast about— but not before God.
