1:28. ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ରେ ପ୍ରକୃତ ଜ୍ଞାନ ପ୍ରପ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ଲୋକେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ବ ଦେଲନୋହିଁ। ସେଥିପାଇଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବିକୃତ ଚ଼ିନ୍ତା ରେ ରହିବାକୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ଦେଲେ ଓ ସମାନେେ ଅନୁଚ଼ିତ କର୍ମକରି ରହିଲେ।

1:28. And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what should not be done.

1:28. Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done.

1:28. And even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up unto a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

1:28. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.

1:28. And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

1:28. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a base mind and to improper conduct.

1:28. And even as they refused to have God in {cf15i their} knowledge, God gave them up unto a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

1:28. And, according as they did not approve of having God in knowledge, God gave them up to a disapproved mind, to do the things not seemly;

1:28. People did not think it was important to have a true knowledge of God. So God left them and allowed them to have their own worthless thinking. And so they do what they should not do.

1:28. Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
