8:42. ଯୀଶୁ ସହେି ଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, "ଯଦି ପରମେଶ୍ବର ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରମପିତା, ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଭଲ ପାଇବା ଉଚିତ। ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପାଖରୁ ଆସିଛି ଓ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ମୁଁ ଏଠା ରେ ଅଛି। ମୁଁ ମାେ କ୍ଷମତା ଅନୁସାରେ ଆସିନାହିଁ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ଏଠାକୁ ପଠାଇଛନ୍ତି।

8:42. Jesus replied, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come from God and am now here. I have not come on my own initiative, but he sent me.
