15:6. ପ୍ରତିବର୍ଷ ପରମ୍ପରାକ୍ରମେ ନି ସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବ ସମୟରେ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ଜଣେ ବନ୍ଦୀକୁ ବନ୍ଦୀଶାଳାରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିଥା'ନ୍ତି। ଯେଉଁ ବନ୍ଦୀକୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ଚାହାଁନ୍ତି, କବଳେ ସହେି ବନ୍ଦୀକୁ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ମୁକ୍ତି ଦଇେଥାନ୍ତି।

15:6. During the feast it was customary to release one prisoner to the people, whomever they requested.

15:6. Now it was the governor's custom each year during the Passover celebration to release one prisoner-- anyone the people requested.
