27:26. ପୀଲାତ ବାରବ୍ବାଙ୍କୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରି ଦେଲେ ଓ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ବତରେ ମାରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ କୃଶ ରେ ଚଢ଼ାଇବା ପାଇଁ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ହାତ ରେ ଅର୍ପଣ କଲେ।

27:26. Then he released Barabbas for them. But after he had Jesus flogged, he handed him over to be crucified.

27:26. So Pilate released Barabbas to them. He ordered Jesus flogged with a lead-tipped whip, then turned him over to the Roman soldiers to be crucified.

27:26. Then released he unto them Barabbas; but Jesus he scourged and delivered to be crucified.
