8:17. ସହେିଦିନ ମୁଁ ମିଶରର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲି, ମୁଁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ସନ୍ତାନଙ୍କୁ ମାେ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପବିତ୍ର କଲି। ଏଣୁ ସମସ୍ତ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ଉଭୟ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ଓ ପଶୁଗୁଡିକ ମାରେ ହବେ।

8:17. For all the firstborn males among the Israelites are mine, both humans and animals; when I destroyed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I set them apart for myself.

8:17. For all the firstborn males among the people of Israel are mine, both of people and of animals. I set them apart for myself on the day I struck down all the firstborn sons of the Egyptians.

8:17. For all the first-born among the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote all the first-born in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.

8:17. for Mine [is] every first-born among the sons of Israel, among man and among beast; in the day of my smiting every first-born in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for Myself;

8:17. Every firstborn in Israel—man or animal—is mine, because I killed all the firstborn children and animals in Egypt. And I chose to take the firstborn sons to belong to me.
