17:11. କାରଣ ରକ୍ତ ରେ ପ୍ରାଣୀର ଜୀବନ ଥାଏ। ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାଯଶ୍ଚିତ କରିବାକୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଉପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଇେଅଛୁ, ଯେ ହତେୁ ପ୍ରାଣର ମୂଲ୍ଯ ରେ ରକ୍ତ ହିଁ ପ୍ରାଯଶ୍ଚିତ କରେ।

17:11. for the life of every living thing is in the blood. So I myself have assigned it to you on the altar to make atonement for your lives, for the blood makes atonement by means of the life.

17:11. for the life of the body is in its blood. I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you, making you right with the LORD. It is the blood, given in exchange for a life, that makes purification possible.
