5:9. ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ ଏହିସବୁର ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦବୋ ନାହିଁ ? ଆମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ ଏ ପ୍ରକାର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଦଣ୍ଡ ବିଧାନ କରି ପ୍ରତିଶାଧେ ନବୋ ନାହିଁ ?" ହଁ, ଏହା ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଯେ, ଏ ପ୍ରକାର ଲୋକ ଦଣ୍ଡ ପାଇବା ଯୋଗ୍ଯ।

5:9. I will surely punish them for doing such things!" says the LORD. "I will surely bring retribution on such a nation as this!"

5:9. Should I not punish them for this?" says the LORD. "Should I not avenge myself against such a nation?

5:9. Shall I not visit for these things? saith Jehovah; and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

5:9. Should I punish the people of Judah for doing these things?" This message is from the Lord. "You know I should punish a nation such as this. I should give it the punishment it deserves.
