2:5. ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, "ତୁମ୍ଭର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣ ଆମ୍ଭଠା ରେ କେଉଁ ଅନ୍ଯାଯ ଦେଖିଲେ ଯେ ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଦୂ ରଇେ ୟାଇଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଅସାର ଦବେତାମାନଙ୍କର ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ଗମନ କରି ଅସାର ହାଇେଅଛନ୍ତି ?

2:5. This is what the Lord says: "What fault could your ancestors have possibly found in me that they strayed so far from me? They paid allegiance to worthless idols, and so became worthless to me.

2:5. thus saith Jehovah, What unrighteousness have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?
