2:35. ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗୁଛ, 'ଆମ୍ଭେ ନିରୀହ ଏବଂ ଆମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଯେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାଙ୍କର କୋର୍ଧକୁ ଆମଠାରୁ ଦୂ ରଇେ ନବେେ।' ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିବାକୁ ଦିଅ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଚାର କରିବା କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହୁଛ, 'ଆମ୍ଭେ ନିର୍ଦ୍ ଦୋଷୀ।'

2:35. you say, 'I have not done anything wrong, so the LORD cannot really be angry with me any more.' But, watch out! I will bring down judgment on you because you say, 'I have not committed any sin.'

2:35. And yet you say, 'I have done nothing wrong. Surely God isn't angry with me!' But now I will punish you severely because you claim you have not sinned.

2:35. Yet thou saidst, I am innocent; surely his anger is turned away from me. Behold, I will enter into judgment with thee, because thou sayest, I have not sinned.
