17:8. ସମାନେେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତକୃତ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ପକାଇବେ ନାହିଁ। ପୁଣି ଆପଣା ଅଙ୍ଗୁଳିକୃତ ଆଶରୋ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ଅବା ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଦବେତାଗଣଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପ୍ରତି ଅନାଇବେ ନାହିଁ।

17:8. They will no longer trust in the altars their hands made, or depend on the Asherah poles and incense altars their fingers made.

17:8. They will no longer look to their idols for help or worship what their own hands have made. They will never again bow down to their Asherah poles or worship at the pagan shrines they have built.
