6:1. ହେ ମାରେ ପୁତ୍ର, ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକର ଋଣ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ଯସ୍ଥି ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ। ଅନ୍ୟର ଋଣ ପରିଶାଧେ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କର ନାହିଁ। ସେ ସାଙ୍ଗ ହେଉ କି ଜଣେ ଅଜଣା ଆଗନ୍ତୁକ ହେଉ ?

6:1. My child, if you have made a pledge for your neighbor, and have become a guarantor for a stranger,

6:1. My son, don't make yourself responsible for the debts of others. Don't make such deals with friends or strangers.

6:1. My son, if you have become collateral for your neighbor, If you have struck your hands in pledge for a stranger;
