17:16. ଜ୍ଞାନ କ୍ରଯ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୂର୍ଖ ହାତ ରେ ଧନ ଥିଲେ ତାହା ମୂଲ୍ଯହୀନ ଅଟେ। କାରଣ ମୂର୍ଖ ଲୋକ ଧନ ବଦଳ ରେ ଜ୍ଞାନ କ୍ରଯ କରିପା ରେ ନାହିଁ।

17:16. Of what use is money in the hand of a fool, since he has no intention of acquiring wisdom?

17:16. It is senseless to pay tuition to educate a fool, since he has no heart for learning.
