5:13. ମୁଁ ମାରେବସ୍ତ୍ରର ଭାଂଗକୁ ଝାଡିଲି ଏବଂ କହିଲି, " ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଏହି ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାର ଗୃହ ଓ ପରିଶ୍ରମର ଫଳରୁ ତାହାକୁ ଏପରି ଝାଡି ଦିଅନ୍ତୁ। ସେ ଏହିପରି କମ୍ପିତ ହେଉ ଓ ଶୂନ୍ଯ ହେଉ।"

5:13. I also shook out my garment, and I said, "In this way may God shake out from his house and his property every person who does not carry out this matter. In this way may he be shaken out and emptied!" All the assembly replied, "So be it!" and they praised the LORD. Then the people did as they had promised.

5:13. I shook out the folds of my robe and said, "If you fail to keep your promise, may God shake you like this from your homes and from your property!" The whole assembly responded, "Amen," and they praised the LORD. And the people did as they had promised.

5:13. Also I shook out my lap, and said, So God shake out every man from his house, and from his labor, that performeth not this promise; even thus be he shaken out, and emptied. And all the assembly said, Amen, and praised Jehovah. And the people did according to this promise.

5:13. I also shook out the fold of my garment and said, "So may God shake out every man from his house and from his labor who does not keep this promise. So may he be shaken out and emptied." And all the assembly said "Amen" and praised the LORD. And the people did as they had promised.

5:13. Then I shook out the folds of my clothes. I said, "God will do the same thing to everyone who does not keep their promise. God will shake them out of their houses and they will lose everything they worked for. They will lose everything!" I finished saying these things and all the people agreed. They all said, "Amen" and praised the Lord. So the people did as they had promised.
