18:17. ବନାଯ, କରେଥୀଯ ଓ ପଲେଥୀଯ ରକ୍ଷୀମାନଙ୍କର ଦାଯିତ୍ବ ରେ ଥିଲେ। ବନାଯ ଯିହାୟୋଦାରଦାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲେ। ଆଉ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ରାଜା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ସବୋ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଖ୍ଯ ପଦାଧିକାରୀ ଥିଲେ।

18:17. Benaiah son of Jehoiada supervised the Kerethites and Pelethites; and David's sons were the king's leading officials.

18:17. Benaiah son of Jehoiada was captain of the king's bodyguard. And David's sons served as the king's chief assistants.
