3:9. ମୁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଏହି ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରୁଅଛି। ମୁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ନିଶ୍ଚିଚ ହେଉଅଛି ଯେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯାହା କହିଥିଲେ, ତାହା ଘଟିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯାଉଛି। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଥିଲେ, ଯେ ସେ ଶାଉଲ ବଂଶଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରାଜ ସିଂହାସନ ନଇେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦବେେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦା ଏବଂ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ରାଜା କରିବେ। ସେ ଦାନଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବେର୍ଶବୋ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଶାସନ କରିବେ। ଏବଂ ମୁ ଭାବକ୍ସ୍ଟଛି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେ ଉପରେ ଅନ୍ଯାଯ କରିବେ ଯଦି ମୁ ତାହା ନକରେ।"

3:9. God will severely judge Abner if I do not do for David exactly what the LORD has promised him,
