20:17. ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅବିମଲକଙ୍କେର ସମସ୍ତ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଧ୍ଯା କଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏପରି କଲେ କାରଣ ଅବିମଲକେ ଅବ୍ରହାମଙ୍କ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସାରାଙ୍କୁ ନଇେଥିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଅବ୍ରହାମ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ ଏବଂ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅବିମଲକେ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଦାସୀଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଆରୋଗ୍ୟ କଲେ। ଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସନ୍ତାନ ସନ୍ତତି ଜାତ ହେଲ।

20:17. Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, as well as his wife and female slaves so that they were able to have children.

20:17. The Lord made all the women in Abimelech's family not able to have children. God did this because Abimelech had taken Sarah, Abraham's wife. But Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his servant girls.
