1:9. ଏହାପରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର କହିଲେ, "ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳ ଅଧଃସ୍ଥ ସମଗ୍ର ଜଳ ଏକ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ସଂଗୃହିତ ହେଉ। ୟଦ୍ବାରା ଭୂମି ଶୁଖିଲା ଦଖାୟିବେ।" ଏବଂ ଏହିପରି ହେଲା।
